Rachel Joy: Paint by Rach

This spring, we commissioned artist Rachel Joy to create four 8×8 paintings based on photographs of Kavala, an orphaned elephant victim of the ivory trade in Zambia. Rachel gave us permission to sell prints of these commissioned paintings.

Museum quality giclee on canvas. Hand stretched on deep (1 1/2 in.) stretcher bars. Gallery wrapped with image mirrored onto the sides. Hand made in the USA. Ships within 10 business days of ordering.

This fine art reproduction is virtually unparalleled in quality, range of color and is at the leading edge of fine art printmaking. Our archival 12 color inkset provides the largest color gamut on high quality matte paper. Ships within 3-4 business days of ordering.

ABOUT RACHEL: I am a young artist who has a love of animals. I professionally began painting in 2013 after deciding to refine mypriorities in order to have the greatest influence and growth in what is really important to me: my faith, marriage, health, and community. Pursing my passion of creating art has actually allowed me more time and energy for all of the above. I am a military wife, and we are moving every couple of years. This has taught me that there is no time like the present to enact the change you want to see, to love the people around you, and to appreciate the beauty right in front of you. My art is a way for me to appreciate the beauty and love I find in nature and humanity.

PAST PROJECTS:

TANYA CELIA: Wayfaring Designs

100 Limited Edition Necklaces were created for those who donated $50USD or more between August-October 2014

From frosty sea glass chards to Baroque altarpieces, Tanya Celia’s upbringing in the kaleidoscopic landscape of southern California has influenced her creations. Now, currently residing in Dallas, Texas, she uses fanciful beads and structural metal pieces, along with inspirational “reminders” to recreate her homeland. As an avid animal lover and enthusiast, she is most excited to be creating a limited edition piece for Elephantopia to show that art, beauty, and function can be recreated without the need to sacrifice such a magnificent mammal.

THANK YOU FOR YOU SUPPORT - ALL 100 NECKLACES ARE NOW SOLD. These necklaces raised $3,000USD for Kavala!
