A Reason to Celebrate!

A Reason to Celebrate!

We’ve got big ambitions:

to save elephants and build community.

So far this year, we’ve built a community of over 10,000 ele-advocates on our Facebook page, nearly 1,000 followers on twitter, and a few hundred subscribers to this blog. Since June, we’ve been able to fundraise $9,000USD to send to our friends in Zambia at the GRI Elephant Orphanage to help support Kavalamanja, an orphaned elephant victim of the ivory trade (picture below). What started as a simple blog, has transformed into a group of committed volunteers helping to spread awareness and care for the elephants of this world.

And are you ready for some more good news?

Just this week, we’ve received back news from the United States Internal Revenue Service, that we now have official 501(c)3 nonprofit status! Now all contributions donated to our cause are tax deductible!

Join the celebration with us - please SHARE our blog/facebook/twitter with your family and friends, then click here to CONTRIBUTE to our cause (and for the month of December receive GIVE JOY holiday cards or ornaments!) Thank you for your support and partnership!

An Indiegogo campaign was launched to raise funds for this venture. The campaign was a huge success and we were able to cover all costs for state and federal paperwork AND begin a partnership with GRI Elephant Orphanage in Zambia. By November of 2015, we were granted 501(c)3 status by the Internal Revenue Service.   […]
