IT’S TIME TO KILL THE TRADE THAT KILLS THE ELEPHANT AND MARCH FOR CHANGE!
We are marching in Houston this October 4 in solidarity with the International March for Elephants sponsored by The David Sheldrick Wildlife Foundation and iWorry Campaign. The march will raise awareness about poaching. At the end of the march, we will present a letter to local government asking for stricter enforcement for illegal wildlife trade.
As we prepare for the peaceful march in October, there are two ways YOU can help support us!
1. SPREAD THE WORD - we are hoping to have between 800-1000 people at our march. This represents the size elephant herds used to be. Today, there is only one left at this size, found in Chad. If you are in Houston, or have friends in Texas or nearby states, please tell them about this event! CLICK HERE to rsvp for the event, or to share it with others. If you are looking for a march near your city, visit www.iworry.org or request information for other support marches here.
2. SUPPORT THE WORK -Â We need to apply for city permits, print flyers, create and print banners, t-shirts and more. This all requires capitol. Please donate $1, $5, $10 or more to our march. Anything we raise above and beyond our needs, will be donated directly to The David Sheldrick Wildlife Foundation in Kenya, the organizer for this world-wide peaceful march for elephants.
